Masks as Metaphor

“One does not become enlightened by imagining light, but by making the darkness conscious”

- Carl Jung

I create masks to express mythological narratives such as Descent and Acsenion, to represent archetypal figures, and to bring to life aspects of ourselves we encounter in our own personal underworlds. Mask As Metaphor is a Rite of Passage Dance modality for telling personal mythologies through Dance Ritual Theatre.
