In these two self portrait pieces I played around with layering images that are dear to me and that represent a sense of home, spirit, family, and ancestry.

I have found artistic freedom in collaging because it allows for image play in experimental composition. Collage is a way to mark time, set intention, and express a story otherwise untold.
